Today i had problems with firefox working very slow until i was on rentacoder and the webserver told me i was making too much resquests and banned me for 24h.
They suggested to enabled the cache so i went to about:config page on firefox, i filtered by cache, and i enabled browser.cache.disk.enable parameter.
This is strange as long as i don't remember to ever have disabled the firefox cache... really don't know.

VirgoFTP
Today i become an open source developer of VirgoFtp. It is a java/swt ftp client. I like the project as long as there are a lot of free ftp clients out there but the free one are almost very poor in design and functionality. This is right for windows but surely for Linux where it's usually something impossible to find something with a gui.
I don't know if i'll have a lot of time to follow the project but i hope to be usefull.

Flex2
The question is: how could i have missed Flex 1?
It was Macromedia's mission to create a "new web" with their plugin but they failed because a strange marketing policy: they wanted to sell Coldfusion! I don't like coldfusion, and everyday i like less php and asp. I didn't have the need to dev on asp.net (you'll think i'm a lucky guy!!!): the web didn't needed another scripting language and surely don't need it now. We need a new way to develop not a new way to write the same things... and now we wait for the web3... but this is designer stuff more than webdevelopers! This could be sad also about flex2 but this is more for dev guys other than designer... they already have Flash to play with! I have to say i like it! Anyway i still don't understand how a flex2 website can be indexed by a search engine... this is something at Adobel don't have thought about. It's 4 years I ear talking about "Flas Remoting" but and how it sould change the way we use the web but this is going to take a long time and new strategies from Adobe.
I just don't know what i will writedown here: surely i hope to remember to note the solution and workaround i find everyday to not forget them!
